I was born in Anchorage, Alaska, which is where my family and I lived for 5 and a half years before moving to Farmington, New Mexico, which was quite a drastic change. My sister, Kinley, was born there a few years later. When I was eleven, we moved here to Durango. My first schooling experience here in Durango was at Escalante middle school, where I first started to grow up and form who I was both in the academic world and the social world. My first year of High school was at Durango High, which wasn't that fun of an experience. There are so many people and the school work is very basic and straight forward, nothing intriguing or interesting at all. The teachers there weren't very open to having deep conversations or meaningful student-teacher relationships due to the fact that there were so many students. So, being bored and unsatisfied with the education I was presented with at DHS, I decided to make the switch to Animas High School. Here at Animas is where I've met many of my closest friends. I've noticed that AHS has helped me grow as a person academically, mentally, and socially. A lot of the work that is handed to me has inspired me to create great things and work my hardest.
I love hanging out with my friends, going to the gym, and playing the piano.
